God Will Keep You!

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22)

We are living in troublesome times. Some people have lost lives, lost jobs, lost their homes, and have lost their marriages. Some people have lost their sanity. It is a difficult period dealing with the pandemic and staying sober with all that is swirling around us. However, I have great news for you. I come to let you know that it is during these terrible times that Jesus Christ carries the believer. He promises to sustain you. Christ’s promises, to the believer, serve to reassure the believer’s fervor and to re-enforce the believer’s faith.

It does not matter what you are going through, the believer is encouraged to “cast your burden upon the LORD”. The weight and size of your burden are not an issue for the LORD. He is well able to carry your problems from start to finish; from loading to unloading or from arbitration to resolution. Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, reminds us through His word that He possesses the resources to provide for, protect and prosper you in the times of drought, dearth, and death.

If you are not saved, that is, you are not a believer, you can have this security if you turn to Him today. “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18), is the extension of God’s sustaining arms to you. He is ready and willing to pour out His love on you.

All you need to do is to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus and thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9). Being a true follower of Christ guarantees you God’s divine sustenance. Entrust the keeping of your soul to Him!
